Our students apply lessons learned in the classroom to team-based simulations. They research, incorporate design fundamentals and procedures, test and retest solutions, and learn how to succeed — and sometimes fail — in a safe, productive learning environment.
Through our hands-on learning experiences, we prepare our students for the real world. Our Warrior Racing team gives mechanical engineering students the chance to develop and race a Formula SAE car at national competitions. Each year, the College of Engineering hosts a 24-hour hackathon, giving students a chance to create innovative apps and software that can be used in the real world.
