Students and alumni

Students and alumni
The main purpose of the Engineering Career Resource Center is to serve our engineering students and alumni. We are here to help you with all of your professional and career development needs.

Career prep checklist
As an engineering student, it is critical that you plan your career pathway early. We’ve created a Career Prep Checklist to help you start thinking about the best time to do an internship, co-op, apply for work, etc. Please contact Erin Rook, program coordinator, at erin.rook@wayne.edu for the checklist.

Alumni
Event after you have graduated from the College of Engineering, we are here to help you in your professional and career development goals. Alumni are welcome at career fairs, networking events, workshops, etc., and alumni are welcome to join our Handshake site to search for new opportunities.

We love seeing our alumni getting involved and giving back on campus, especially when it is to help current students prepare for their own budding careers. Are you an alumni interested in giving back to Wayne State University? You don’t have to donate money, we can use your skills, time, insight and expertise to help current students have the same career success as our alumni.

Please visit our alumni site if you're a graduate interested in getting involved.
