As a requirement of their degree program, every undergraduate student undertakes a Senior Design Capstone project. This pivotal course represents the culmination of their academic journey, providing a platform to showcase their abilities in tackling real-world challenges. Throughout the course, students integrate various essential elements including:

  1. Collaboration and teamwork
  2. Leadership skills
  3. Ethical considerations in computing
  4. Addressing client requirements
  5. Delivering presentations at key project stages

The Senior Design Capstone serves as a vital opportunity for students to not only exhibit their academic prowess but also to gain invaluable hands-on experience by collaborating with clients to devise practical solutions for industry challenges.

2023-24 winners

On Friday, April 18, 2024, various teams from the College of Engineering presented their Capstone designs to faculty, friends, family, and students. The competition was fierce, and everyone who attended enjoyed seeing an array of innovative, creative, and unique designs.
