For faculty

The James and Patricia Anderson Engineering Ventures Institute was established to advance Wayne State University's important role in contributing to the growth and revitalization of Detroit as well as to the university's overall vision to become the pre-eminent public research university in the nation.

One of our goals is to foster a culture of entrepreneurship among the faculty—envisioning commercial applications for new technology, securing patents and establishing start-up companies—while providing opportunities for students to learn best practices in applied research, technology commercialization and business creation.

Please take advantage of the tools and resources available to you throughout the faculty portion of this site.
