CHE Seminar Series: "Interfacing Nanomaterials with Biology: Applications in Therapeutics and Diagnostics"

The Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science at Wayne State University is pleased to offer the following seminar series for department faculty, graduate students, undergraduate students, and guests. Seminars are held on Tuesdays at 2:30–3:30 p.m. followed by a reception.   All seminars are held at the Welcome Center, unless specified. Join Dr. Vincent Rotello, Professor, Department of Chemistry, University of Massachusetts Amherst as he presents on the subject of "Interfacing Nanomaterials with Biology: Applications in Therapeutics and Diagnostics."

Description: The 2016 Institute of Industrial Engineers' Regional Conference will bring together 16 institutions from the states of Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, and Ohio.  This conference will focus on the growing relationship between business and engineering and how engineering students can become the next generation of top entrepreneurs.  From leading experts in the fields of technology and commercialization, social media, and other key business and engineering areas, students will learn how to bring their ideas to fruition. Keynote addresses, informational sessions, and a technical paper competition are but a few of the events taking place this weekend.

2016 Venture IIE Conference Career Fair

The 2016 Venture IIE Conference Career Fair is designated for employers from all industries. Wayne State’s College of Engineering offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in Industrial and Systems Engineering. This regional conference will host students from the following institutions: Michigan Wayne State University Oakland University University of Michigan – Dearborn University of Michigan – Ann Arbor Western Michigan University Indiana Purdue University Kentucky University of Louisville Ohio The Ohio State University Ohio University Wright State Youngstown and others. The cost for the fair is $200 or free for conference sponsors, which includes: Parking structure pass Table with tablecloth Employer Highlight at Wayne State University Career Services. Wayne State University subscribes to COS Pivot, the single most comprehensive source of funding information available. Whether your work is in the sciences or the arts, COS Pivot services can help support and advance your research. Much more efficient than Googling, the database is an aggregation of funding information that is verified for accuracy, updated for currency and formatted for quick, targeted searching.
