Graduate Student Professional Travel Award (GSPTA)
This award provides support to a master's or Ph.D. student who is presenting a scholarly paper or poster at a major professional meeting. You may submit your funding request at the time of your article/poster submission; if you are accepted to present, you are required to provide the confirmation at least 30 days in advance; without the confirmation, your funds will be released to the next person. Funds are limited; first come first served. Please apply early! Provide at least two weeks before travel for processing.

Dean's Travel Award for Excellence in Graduate Student Research
The College of Engineering has established the Dean's Travel Award to replace the Andrjez Olbrot Travel Award which recognizes excellence in graduate student research. The award(s) will be presented to a maximum of two College of Engineering Ph.D. students annually to defray part of the cost to attend and present a research paper in a major professional meeting. The award will consist of up to $500, together with a recognition plaque that will be presented during the Annual College of Engineering Convocation.
