ISE student receives Vinod and Gail Sahney Endowed Scholarship in Health Applications of Systems Engineering

The Wayne State University (WSU) College of Engineering received a new endowed donor award, the Vinod and Gail Sahney Endowed Scholarship in Health Applications of Systems Engineering. Dana Favot was this year’s recipient.

To apply for the scholarship, undergraduates in the Industrial and Systems Engineering Department must complete a 500 word essay that explores a preferred topic within industrial and systems engineering and related to health care applications. Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA to be considered for the scholarship, and those with demonstrated leadership and involvement in WSU College of Engineering or professional industrial engineering programs have an advantage. Recipients of the award are able to use the funds toward paying their tuition dues or other educational expenses.
