Hao Ying, professor of electrical and computer engineering, elected as an IEEE Fellow

Hao Ying, professor of electrical and computer engineering, has been elected as a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE.)

IEEE Fellow is a distinction reserved for select IEEE members whose extraordinary accomplishments in any of the IEEE fields of interest are deemed fitting of this prestigious grade elevation. Dr. Ying was elected for his contributions to theory and biomedical applications of fuzzy control.

Dr. Ying has published one single-authored research monograph/advanced textbook entitled Fuzzy Control and Modeling: Analytical Foundations and Applications, which contains his own research results only. He has also published 97 peer-reviewed journal publications, and 136 conference papers. He is serving as an Associate Editor or a Member of Editorial Board for 10 international journals and is a member of the Fuzzy Systems Technical Committee of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society.
