Elizabeth Krear

Elizabeth Krear has been in the auto industry for over 30 years. She's been responsible for some of FCA’s most important products, including the Ram 1500, Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Gladiator. Her current responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of the Jeep Gladiator program as the Chief Engineer.

In 2020, Automotive News named Krear to the prestigious list of the 100 Leading Women in the North American Automotive Industry.

Krear earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University.  Additionally, she has a Master’s of Business Administration from Michigan State University.

She is an active member of the Women’s Alliance Business Resource Group at FCA, which is one of ten employee groups representing a range of affinity communities.  She also serves as an Industry Advisor to Wayne State University Mechanical Engineering department.
