Over the last 90 years, the College of Engineering has reinforced its academic mission to give students the kind of hands-on, real-life experience that's only possible at a top-ranked urban research university. The college offers more than 50 degree and certificate programs led by world renowned faculty, as well as opportunities for continued learning through short courses and other programs.
The college's robust curricula puts students on a track to provide leadership in emerging growth areas that will shape the future, including bioengineering, connectivity and mobility, nanotechnology, and alternative energy. Students work alongside educators and researchers who are experts in interdisciplinary fields such as advanced materials and manufacturing, smart and connected cities, autonomous vehicles, data science and analytics, energy storage, injury biomechanics, and sustainable water systems.

The classes are very hands on and group oriented, which is a good experience for the real world. The professors care about the content they teach and the program is flexible enough for you to cater towards your career goals. The program was a springboard for me to achieve my career dreams.
