As a proud alumna of Wayne State University, Jill Logsdon's engineering career began while she was studying Mechanical Engineering at WSU. She had the opportunity to conduct research in the Biomedical Engineering laboratory, which sparked her passion for innovation and problem-solving. This experience not only deepened her understanding of engineering principles but also laid the foundation for her career. She continued her research at Ford Motor Company, which further solidified her interest in the field. After graduating, she went on to work at Continental AG (formerly Siemens VDO Automotive) as a Mechanical Design Engineer, where she worked on various projects, including RKE and PASE Transmitter programs, Antenna Immobilizer programs, and Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM) receiver programs.
Throughout her career, she has held various leadership roles, including her current position as Division Chief of Project Management at the US Army Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC) Detroit Arsenal Prototype Integration Facility (DTA PIF). She has also worked as a System Engineer, Lead Design Engineer, and Division Chief of Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in fast-paced environments. Her experience has equipped her with a unique blend of technical, programmatic, and managerial expertise, and she is committed to leveraging her skills to drive innovation and excellence in her current role.
