Melissa Millender-Alvin began her engineering career after graduating from Wayne State University with B.S. in Electrical Engineering at Ford Motor Company as an FCG where she transition into the role as a product development engineer for various small vehicle platforms.  As she progressed through her career, Ford sponsored her as she pursed a M.S. in Electronics and Computer Control Systems from Wayne State University. 

After several years in product development at Ford Motor Company, Melissa transition to technical program management at Robert Bosch.  Melissa has managed numerous complex projects (sensors, engine control modules, software, exhaust after-treatments and systems) with a global footprint and international teams.  Melissa is currently the program management officer for a multimillion dollar portfolio of cross-functional projects where she leads a program managers in launching strategic programs successfully using PMBK principles. 

As a Bosch leader, Melissa is a supporter of Girls STEM Academy.  Shei is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority where she partner with various middle schools to prompt careers in STEM.
