Veera Mahajan has a Bachelor’ of Science degree in Computer Science from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She possesses a strong foundation in technology and business and has made significant contributions as President of a highly successful software company in Michigan. For over 23 years, she played an instrumental role in its remarkable growth and eventual acquisition by a French company for over $105 million. She also owned and published Malibu Chronicle Magazine for six years before selling it to The Malibu Times.

Veera is also the founder of the non-profit organization Foundation for Women at Risk, dedicated to supporting women and children facing domestic abuse. She also supports young girls through Indian Dreams Foundation, which focuses on high school education, menstrual hygiene education and social skills for young girls.
