College of Engineering stands in solidarity with women, and all members of the Asian, Asian American and Pacific Islander communities

Along with our colleagues across Wayne State University, the College of Engineering stands in solidarity with women, and all members of the Asian, Asian American and Pacific Islander communities who face oppression in any way, shape, or form.

The roots of the recent ugly acts of violence stem from the abuses of perceived power and are fueled by hate. Such misguided motivations are deployed in a way that only serves to hurt, deprive, de-value, and take away life.

Here at WSU-COE, we re-commit to looking out for each other and for all members of our community. We recommit to stand against hate, debunk all stereotypes, address implicit bias, and otherwise support our fellow humans in this time and going forward. We have found these resources useful, and encourage you to take them in as per your interest.
