Heather Lai
a graduate research assistant in ME, has been named the recipient of Wayne State's 2012 Garrett T. Heberlein Excellence in Teaching Award for Graduate Students. This award provides the University an opportunity to recognize and encourage excellence in teaching among our graduate students. This is the only universityâ€wide teaching award made to graduate students. The award will be presented to Lai formally at the University's Academic Recognition Ceremony on Thursday, April 26 at 4 p.m. in the McGregor Conference Center.
