Two engineering student athletes recognized for academic success

Two engineering student athletes were recognized for the success on the field and in the classroom in the fall semester.

Freshman engineering student and football player Carterris Carter achieved the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) All-Academic Excellence Team with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Senior mechanical engineering student and tennis player Lisa Thomas was recognized as a member of the GLIAC All-Academic Team with a GPA between 3.0 and 3.49.

"Congratulations to Caterris and Lisa for making their studies a priority while also representing WSU on the field and the court," said Dean Farshad Fotouhi.
