Wayne State College of Engineering to celebrate National Engineers Week
The Wayne State College of Engineering will celebrate National Engineers Week, occurring February 22-28, 2015, with a number of student-led events and activities.
"These activities enrich student's lives beyond the classroom," says Maheen Asghar, president of the Engineering Student Faculty Board. "I hope my peers can come out and enjoy all of the fun activities we have planned."
National Engineers Week calls attention to the contributions engineers make to society. It also highlights the importance of promoting STEM disciplines among future generations of students.
The College of Engineering will be celebrating with activities planned throughout the week.
