Wayne State engineering students celebrate Engineers Week, Feb. 19-25

DETROIT (Feb. 19, 2012) - A number of student organizations at the Wayne State University College of Engineering will celebrate Engineers Week Feb. 19-25 with a number of scheduled events and activities.

"Engineers Week is a nationally celebrated week recognizing engineers," said Nigil Valikodath, secretary of the College's Engineering Student Faculty Board. "We encourage all students and faculty to participate in the many events various organizations are hosting as they are fun and educational!"
