Biography
Dr. Yong Xu received his B.S. degree in Electronics Engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 1997, and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, in 1998 and 2002, respectively. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Xu is a renowned researcher in the areas of sensors and MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems), and a recipient of the NSF CAREER award.
