Biography
Tazdik Patwary Plateau earned his Ph.D. this past spring (2024) in Mechanical Engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology, where he also worked as a graduate research assistant in the Sustainable Materials and Manufacturing Lab. He has a bachelor's in materials and metallurgical engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. Dr. Plateau is an accomplished researcher in the areas of advanced energy materials and manufacturing techniques, aiming to enhance the performance of renewable energy technologies and advance green sustainable solutions. His work spans the development of high-capacity lithium-ion battery electrodes, conductive composite materials and efficient solar cells. Dr. Plateau is a member of the Association of Energy Engineers, the Electrochemical Society, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
