The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) has the faculty, staff and programs to prepare you for a engineers to solve the society’s grand challenges for the 21st century. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, Civil and Environmental Engineering occupations are expected to grow at 6% and 7% (faster than average) over the next decade, respectively. It is no surprise why the U.S. News & World Report rates the desirability of these professions as #6 and #7 Best Engineering Jobs.
