Engineering Technology to host networking event April 19

DETROIT (March 19, 2012) - The Engineering Technology Department at the Wayne State University College of Engineering will host a networking event from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on April 19, 2012.

The event is open to prospective students, current students, alumni, industry and community college partners, and friends. It will feature an alumni panel, an open forum for networking and discussions with faculty members, lab tours, a student project fair and a staff presentation.

"There is much to celebrate in the Engineering Technology Department," said Chih Ping Yeh, department chair and professor. "We continue to enhance our program offerings and increase the number of practical experience opportunities for our students, thus providing the workforce with savvy, professional alumni ready to work from day one. This event will help us share our good news, connect with industry and alumni, and provide valuable information to those thinking about an engineering technology degree from Wayne State."
