Wayne State College of Engineering announces 2015 summer camp series
The Wayne State University College of Engineering is pleased to announce two camps designed to promote K-12 STEM education in Michigan. The first, Camp Engineering, will take place from Jun. 16 to Jul. 10 and focus on Android design and biomedical engineering. The second series, Computer Science Summer Camps, are set for Jul. 6 to Jul. 23 and have a wide range of activities.
"We understand the importance of providing our community with opportunities to learn about engineering and computer science," says Wayne State College of Engineering Dean Farshad Fotouhi. "These camps introduce younger audiences to the limitless potential of these fields, equipping them with the tools, information and resources that are most helpful in pursing these disciplines." The camps are open to students ages 8 to 18, and capacity is limited. Explore the different camps offered below.
