Autonomous Vehicle Technologies certificate program

The Autonomous Vehicles certificate introduces learners to the status, potential, and applications of autonomous vehicles (AVs), and the business models that make large scale deployment possible. The course includes a wide range of topics including underlying technologies that make large scale AV development and deployment possible (sensors and controls, data management and storage, etc.) Students learn about infrastructure requirements and business factors and decisions that are needed to facilitate large scale deployment and to forecast market segmentation and revenue pools. Students also learn about regulatory needs in AVs - safety, environmental, and legal.

Format: completely online, 6-week courses
Starts: Monday, November 2, 2020
Engagement:  topical discussions on foundational course content, and current articles and media
Commitment:  approximately 5-10h per week; 30-60 hours total for the program
Assessments and certification: successful completion of weekly assignments earns a Certificate of completion from the College of Engineering at WSU (Wayne State University)

Grading

INDIVIDUAL ASSESSMENTS: Individual assessments are not timed and are multiple-choice questions.
