Barbara Samardzich - Hall of Fame 2004
Engineering Management
Barbara Samardzich received a master's degree in engineering management in 1995. She joined the Westinghouse Corporation in 1981 and worked as a senior sales engineer in new product development before leaving in 1992 to join the Ford Motor Company as a product design engineer.
In 14 years at Ford, Barbara has continued her succession from design engineer to supervisor, to manager, to chief program engineer, to director, to chief engineer, and finally to executive director.
