Doctorate of Philosophy in Biomedical Engineering

Program specialization at the PhD degree level may be undertaken in five areas:

  • biomechanics of injury
  • biomedical instrumentation
  • biomedical imaging
  • biomaterials and tissue engineering
  • computational and systems biology

These program specializations are available to both part-time and full-time students, in either research or non-research degree programs.

As of Winter 2021, there are 32 students enrolled in the Ph.D. BME Program

Graduation numbers are reported below:

  • 3 students graduated in 2013

  • 4 students graduated in 2016
  • 6 students graduated in 2017
  • 9 students graduated in 2018
  • 3 students graduated in 2019
